As an experienced artist, I have the skills and technical tools to work with you from the first sketch of an idea, through the necessary revisions, till the last still frame, making sure the process is quick and smooth, and the final product is delivered right on time.
The Process.
In general, I start by analysing the brief and the script (if provided). Then, I spend some time on research and development (R&D) to determine the most effective and efficient techniques for the project. Next, I personally create the designs and put together a mood board and presentation deck, incorporating not only visual concepts but also written concepts. I carefully consider brand guidelines and client expectations while also balancing them with my creative vision. Throughout the process, I also create essential 3D assets, allowing for flexibility in addressing any future changes.
Once the treatment is approved and feedback has been addressed, I proceed to visually develop the narrative by illustrating the concept through a series of storyboards. In most cases, the concept design is already quite accurate and serves as a solid foundation. Once the client approves the storyboards, which is a critical feedback checkpoint, I move on to the animation phase. This involves starting with a wireframe animatic and progressing towards the final delivery assets.
